Fraternity’s Lucky Grass charity has officially taken off in the Asia-Pacific region

No natural disaster has had such a thorough introspection brought about by this epidemic. It was only after the outbreak of the epidemic that social organizations could do too much. How should the limited resources be deployed? Who can organize the deployment? How to protect the frontline personnel who really need it? Everything makes us fall into contemplation and deep introspection.

Efforts to eradicate poverty and hunger often come to naught in the face of conflicts and natural disasters. On the contrary, hunger and poverty will also bring conflicts to the fertile land, especially when encountering regional imbalances, making disasters more complicated.

Globally, from 1994 to 2003, of the 13 million victims of large-scale conflicts, more than 12 million came from sub-Saharan Africa, West Asia, and South Asia. At the same time, these three regions are also homes for refugees and displaced persons, accounting for three-quarters of the 37 million in the world, and these are also the places where the number of hungry people is rising. In two of these regions — sub-Saharan Africa and West Asia — the number of poor people is still rising.

In these 10 years, 669,000 people died from natural disasters. Almost three-quarters of them are from East Asia and South Asia. In December 2004, in just a few hours, the Indian Ocean tsunami claimed the lives of hundreds of people. If early warning systems or related methods are used, many casualties from natural disasters could have been avoided. However, due to competitive disadvantages, the poorest countries and people often lose out.

Philanthropy is for everyone in the world, no matter where they are born. Promoting charity for all mankind in humanitarian emergencies and post-conflict situations can help build the foundation for long-term development.

In 2013, a group of outstanding entrepreneurs jointly launched the lucky grass charity action to spread love! In the seven years of Lucky grass Public Welfare, as of September 1, 2020, we have successfully raised $6.3671 million for the project through the bridge of love.

The individual is very small, but the united power is great! Through the tireless efforts of people all over the world, the lucky grass charity action has grown under the care and encouragement of groups and individuals from all walks of life, so that more children have the right to “satisfy” and “learn”!

Fraternity originated in 2018. By chance, when Redmond Drew participated in Clover’s charity, he faced so many poor children and people in need. It awakened Redmond Drew’s inner goodwill towards the world and broadened his worldview and values. As a senior Internet technology developer, Redmond Drew has been thinking about how to let everyone participate in public welfare, combining the financial management philosophy of his friend Mike Boot (the executive director of the North American Society of Actuaries (SOA) and the head of the practice development department) to create A platform that combines public welfare and Internet financial management — Fraternity public welfare and charity mutual aid platform.

In 2018–2020, a total of more than 3 million US dollars of charity funds were raised for the Lucky Grass Charity Fund. The charity has realized the openness of data through the blockchain model, the simplification of charity, and the vision of everyone being a philanthropist.

The Fraternity-DAPP based on the underlying platform of the Tron TRON blockchain will be officially launched in December 2020. The application is completely open source, autonomous, the data is completely open on the blockchain, and the code can be viewed and audited at any time. Completely transparent funding and data management are realized.

All charitable funds do not need to pass through a third party, and are transferred from personal wallets to smart contract wallets. The contract is an open, fair and transparent blockchain computing protocol that spreads, verifies, or executes the contract in an information-based way.

Let people all over the world
Make giving a life habit
Let everyone participate in charity
build a world of mutual help, peace and harmony!
